I’m a huge fan of my oversized Ray-Ban nerd-chic glasses not only because I have to wear them (thanks DNA!), but they also hide restless nights, the effects of a salty dinner, bad karma.

Now this outfit actually was on me last night. For the red carpet interviews of the stars of Real Steel, I attempted to battle the October LA heat with a tank top, jeggings and my beloved gray suede boots. I kind of sort of failed miserably at my mission of keeping cool because, man, when that sun comes down on Universal City, it comes down HARD. And until sweat droplets are considered sexy for anything on TV that isn’t porn or a football game, I’m going to start carrying tissues with me. Hankies seem unsanitary.
I topped off my look with some bling, courtesy of stylist extraordinaire and fashion guru Anya Sarre. Anya recently launched her accessories line with Shoedazzle, inspired by her own collection of jewelry. Appropriately enough, I rocked the California Chic bangles. What I liked most about these was that the bracelets actually FIT me. This might seem like a champagne problem, but my wrists are pretty small and most bracelets slip right off so I’m extra thankful that these ones stayed put. Because you can’t appropriately robot battle dance Hugh Jackman when your accessories are, literally, falling on the floor. I mean, how embarrassing would that be. Almost as embarrassing as LOSING a robot battle dance to Hugh Jackman… wait…
