Why is Cat Deeley So Cool?
British coolgirl and host of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance and recently-debuted The Choice Cat Deeley spoke to Refinery29 in April about self-styling, her favorite LA shopping destinations (love that she mentions Zara and the Melrose/Fairfax and Rosebowl Flea Markets - few Geekista favorites) and transitioning from modeling to hosting, or as she so British-ly calls it, “presenting.” I had the pleasure of interviewing Cat after her Emmy nomination last year and was thoroughly charmed by her humility, down-to-earth attitude and, yes, utter chicness. In the business of show, it’s hard for some to keep their YSL stilettos firmly planted on the ground. She does it with aplomb.
