Red carpet ready. I decided to get my nails done in a gorgeous neutral tone, Essie’s Sand Tropez. It’s one of my favorite flesh-toned neutrals and perfect since I will be covering a red carpet tomorrow night and am not sure about what I’m wearing just yet.
The “greige” (grey + beige) craze that swept through a year ago might be over, giving way to some very spring-y pastel hues, but I can’t help but continue to rock Chinchilly by Essie on my nails. It’s a gorgeous neutral shade with touches of subtle purple and taupe. Complex? Yes. Gorgeous? Also yes. This is an especially great shade for tanned ladies, as the multi-facetedness of the color brings out our natural sunkissed shade. Paler girls, tread carefully.
I can’t believe September is already here and with it, the thick-as-encyclopedias fashion magazines and the opportunity to change up your beauty routine for the season. BellaSugar just posted their September Must-Have Beauty Products. Items I would totally try from the list: Kiehl’s Superbly Restorative Argan Dry Oil and that perfect-for-the-season pumpkin/burnt sienna colored nail polish by Essie (Very Structured).
