I spied this gorgeous Alice + Olivia party frock recently. Love the bead detail and full, tulle skirt. And if I were attending a White Party held by one of the Real Housewives, I would totally rock it.

LNOA at the LA Film Critics Awards. Hot pink lips and peplum’d hips! Here’s the downside to self-styling: when its been unseasonably cold for LA - and yes that means dipping way below 60 degrees - and your event is outdoors, any thought and effort you’ve put into your outfit gets bundled up and hidden underneath a giant coat. So, some would argue, why even bother? Just throw on a shirt and slacks and let the coat cover (pun intended) the rest. Well, maybe they’ll move the event indoors. Maybe they’ll have heat lamps. Maybe my goosebumps will form a protective barrier around me and render me impervious to the temperature. None of these happened but I documented my beneath-coat ensemble anyway. It was the first time I’d rocked the peplum thing! Better late than… when it’s totally out of style?
Peplum dress by LUSH. Necklace, gift. Lipstick, Schiap by NARS.

LWOA: Narciso Rodriguez babydoll dress circa 2006, worn to the LACMA Art + Film Gala red carpet. I always see babydoll silhouettes come and go, probably because looking like you’re pregnant doesn’t ever really go out of style? At any rate, this was well worth the $$ I poured into tailoring it.

My sister and I started Boy Georgina Vintage as a pet project that combines two of our interests: Online retail and affordable, unique vintage items. We carefully curate everything in our store, regularly seeking out new sources for gently-used clothes and accessories. Our shared dojo/office space now houses over 60+ amazing pieces, all on sale and ready for purchase. Through BGV, we hope to make vintage shopping accessible, fun and - above all - affordable.
Below are a few of our latest finds that I’m SUPER excited about!

Early ’90s era oversized heavy coat. For those chilly nights, top a thermal-and-leggings ensemble with this quirky piece. $25.00

Blue silver white geometric shirt-dress. Would look wicked with a wide strappy belt and some calf-length boots. $18.00

1970s Chevron print v-neck dress. This one kind of reminds me of MIssoni. Perfect for a warm spring day and paired with some peep-toes or high platforms. $38.00

Suede Navajo fringe jacket. Love this one! We both had that must-nab fashion moment when we found this piece. $36.00

1970s cream double-breasted blazer. Sleek and chic. Would look major over a tight mini-skirt, some booties and hair piled high. $33.00

Stoked about this pony print dress I nabbed final sale at a steal price of $25. It’s superfeminine and girly, which I love, but most importantly it isn’t totally seasonal. Sure, it has that burgundy-reddish hue that’s so ubiquitous during the holidays, but I could easily rock this one spring evening with platform sandals. Will definitely be rocking around the Christmas tree in it at a Christmas Eve shindig.
