LNOA: Meeting Time
I have these broad swimmer/surfer shoulders which make me hesitant to wear anything with shoulder embellishments for fear of being mistaken for Patrick Chung of the Patriots (yes, I named Chung because he is the first Asian in the NFL who comes to mind). Still, when I found this Elizabeth & James frock, I couldn’t resist: I’m a sucker for well-placed grommets on a sleek sheath. So much of a sucker, in fact, I got the dress in black as well. I wore the pale pink/nude version to a meeting recently and paired it with black and gold spiked DV by Dolce Vita booties (not shown).
I got a few compliments on it so I think my football shoulders concern was all for not; or maybe everyone was just too polite to say what they really thought so they erred on the side of positive and told me it looked awesome. Toss-up!
